Brand Usage Policy
This policy outlines the terms under which approved law firms may use the Global Law Lists.org brand, logos, and branding materials. It is legally binding and applies to all registered and approved members.
01 — Eligibility
Who may use our brand
Only law firms that have been approved by the Global Law Lists.org team and are actively registered under one of the following plans are authorised to use our brand assets:
Law firms must maintain an active membership in one of the specified plans to continue utilising the Global Law Lists.org brand. Suspension, expiration, or termination of membership automatically revokes the right to use the brand.
02 — Authorised Usage
Permitted and prohibited use
Authorised law firms may use Global Law Lists.org logos, symbols, and brand materials strictly for the following purposes:
- Promotion of the firm's inclusion in the Global Law Lists.org directory
- Display on the firm's official website, business cards, and firm-branded stationery
- Use in legal marketing materials directly related to the firm's listing and membership status with Global Law Lists.org
Firms are strictly prohibited from:
- Modifying, altering, or distorting the logo in any way, including changing the colours, proportions, or layout
- Using the logo in any context that implies endorsement by Global Law Lists.org outside the scope of directory inclusion
- Associating the logo with activities that may mislead, defame, or otherwise damage the reputation of Global Law Lists.org
03 — Design & Presentation
Maintaining visual integrity
- Logo IntegrityThe Global Law Lists.org logo must be used in its original form, as provided by our team. It must not be compressed, stretched, or altered in any way that distorts its appearance.
- Clear SpaceMaintain a clear space around the logo equal to the height of the letter "G" in the logo to ensure that it is distinct and easily recognisable.
- Colour ConsistencyThe logo must always be presented in its official colours — on appropriate backgrounds to maintain brand integrity.
- Website LinkingWhen using the logo on your website, link it directly to https://globallawlists.org/
04 — Enforcement
Compliance and termination of rights
Global Law Lists.org reserves the right to monitor the use of its brand assets to ensure compliance with this policy. Misuse of the brand will result in corrective action, which may include the revocation of the right to use the brand and potential legal action.
If a law firm's membership in Global Law Lists.org is terminated for any reason — including but not limited to non-compliance with our terms — their rights to use our brand will be immediately revoked. All brand materials must be removed from the firm's platforms and marketing collateral within 14 days of termination.
05 — Reporting Violations
Notify us of any misuse
If you become aware of any misuse of Global Law Lists.org's brand, you are required to notify us immediately. We take any violation of our Brand Usage Policy seriously and will take the necessary legal actions to protect the integrity of our brand.
Legal Disclaimer & Ownership of Brand Assets
Global Law Lists.org® is not responsible for any impression or representation made by law firms or entities using our brand that results in financial loss, reputational damage, or other liabilities to any entity. The firm or entity responsible for using the logo must assume full responsibility for its actions, representations, and any legal implications arising from such use.
Global Law Lists.org® retains all rights, title, and interest in its brand assets. Use of the brand by law firms does not constitute ownership or any proprietary interest in the brand. Misuse may result in legal liability, including but not limited to claims for trademark infringement, unfair competition, and breach of contract. All badges, logos, visual assets, and brand materials are the exclusive proprietary property of the Global Law Lists Organization® and may only be used by verified and active members.
