Data Processing Addendum

This Data Processing Addendum (the "Addendum") forms part of the agreement (the "Agreement") between Global Law Lists.org ("we," "us," or "our") and the listed lawyer/law firm or user ("you," "your," or "user").

1. Definitions

• Personal Data: Any information related to an identified or identifiable individual.
• Processing: Any operation performed on Personal Data, including collection, sharing, and storage.
• Third-Party Platforms: Includes but is not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Pinterest.

2. Scope of Processing

We process your data solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the services provided on GlobalLawLists.org, including but not limited to:

• Sharing your law firm's profile, listings, or awards on third-party platforms for promotional purposes.
• Creating public posts, graphics, or campaigns that highlight your law firm's accomplishments and visibility.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data in compliance with applicable data protection regulations based on:

• Your consent provided during the registration or profile submission process.
• Legitimate interest in promoting listed law firms and expanding their reach to potential clients or collaborators.

4. Sharing on Third-Party Platforms

4.1. Purpose

To promote your law firm and improve visibility across audiences on social media and other platforms.

4.2. Platforms

Your profile or listing may be shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, or similar platforms.

4.3. Content Shared

• Your law firm's name and logo.
• Awards, recognitions, or badges issued by GlobalLawLists.org.
• Descriptive content from your profile or listing.

5. Data Ownership

• You retain ownership of all the data you provide to us.
• By agreeing to this Addendum, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to share your content on third-party platforms for promotional purposes.

6. Responsibilities of the Parties

6.1. GlobalLawLists.org:

• Will ensure any shared data complies with applicable data protection regulations.
• Will not alter or misrepresent your data in a way that could harm your law firm's reputation.

6.2. User/Law Firm:

• Acknowledges the rights granted for sharing content.
• Is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and legality of data submitted to GlobalLawLists.org.

7. Opt-Out Option

You may opt-out of sharing your profile or listings on third-party platforms by contacting us at office@globallawlists.org. Upon opt-out, we will cease all future promotional sharing for your firm.

8. Disclaimers

8.1. Accuracy of Content

While we strive to ensure the accuracy of the data shared, GlobalLawLists.org does not guarantee that content on third-party platforms will always reflect the most current or accurate version of your profile or listing.

8.2. Platform Policies

We cannot control or be held responsible for how third-party platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn) use or process data once shared. Their respective privacy policies govern their actions.

8.3. Unauthorized Use

If a third party improperly uses shared data, GlobalLawLists.org is not liable. We will, however, cooperate to address such misuse if reported.

8.4. No Guarantee of Results

Sharing on third-party platforms is intended to promote visibility but does not guarantee any specific outcome, such as increased clients or engagement.

9. Limitation of Liability
