Terms and Conditions

1. "Client" refers to any person, law firm, corporation, or entity entering into a contractual agreement with Global Law Lists.org^™ for the purpose of utilising advertising, network listings, awards programs, or any other service(s) offered.
2. "Services" means all products and services provided by Global Law Lists.org^™, including but not limited to network listings, digital advertising, awards programs, and additional services as defined in individual agreements or proposals.
3. "Website" denotes the official website of Global Law Lists.org^™ and all content accessible therein.

1. Global Law Lists.org^™ agrees to render the Services as outlined in any signed proposal or agreement, including but not limited to advertisements, listings, and awards recognition.
2. The Client agrees to furnish all requisite materials for the provision of the Services, including logos, images, text and other relevant content, on or before the agreed-upon deadlines.

1. The Client is responsible for providing all necessary materials within the specified timeframe. Failure to do so grants Global Law Lists.org^™ the right to develop and create content at its discretion, with associated costs borne by the Client.
2. Upon completion of content, Global Law Lists.org^™ will send a proof via email, allowing the Client 48 hours to approve, amend, or cancel.
3. If the Client fails to respond within the allotted 48 hours, the content will be deemed approved and finalised. Cancellations will not be accepted beyond this period, except where publication has not yet commenced production.
4. The Client shall remain liable for full payment of the invoice even in cases of cancellation beyond the 48-hour window if the content is ready for publication.

1. Annual administrative fee. Membership plans (Essential Members, Elite Members and Prestige Members) carry an annual administrative fee, shown with each plan before you pay. The fee is payable when you join or claim a profile, and then once a year.
2. Renewal. Memberships paid by card renew automatically each year at the fee of the plan you are on, until you cancel. Memberships paid by invoice receive a renewal invoice before the term ends, with reminders 30 days, 7 days and 1 day before the renewal date.
3. Other invoices. Invoices for advertising and other services are due on receipt, unless the agreement says otherwise. Payments by wire transfer must be confirmed within 10 business days of the invoice date.
4. Unpaid fees. If a card renewal fails, we try again for up to 15 days. If an invoiced renewal is still unpaid 5 days after it falls due, or a card renewal is still unpaid after those 15 days, the membership ends as described in section 14.
5. Recovery. Outstanding amounts for services already delivered remain payable, and Global Law Lists may take reasonable steps to recover them, including the costs of recovery.

1. Memberships. You can cancel a membership at any time from Billing in your dashboard. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the term you have paid for; until then your profile and member features stay active, and you will not be charged again. You can resume the membership at any time before that date. The fee for the current term is not refunded.
2. Changing plan. An upgrade takes effect straight away, and the difference for the rest of the current term is payable at once. A downgrade takes effect at your next renewal.
3. Claims. When you claim an existing profile, we may check that you represent the firm before the profile is handed over. If we cannot confirm it, the claim is refused and the payment is refunded in full: card payments to the card used, account credit back to your account.
4. Advertising and content services. Any cancellation must be requested in writing within 24 hours of the booking or within 48 hours of receiving the content proof. If cancellation is requested after the proof has been finalised but before production has begun, the full invoice remains payable.

1. Members can update their profiles at no additional cost, as often as needed, from their dashboard. Some changes are reviewed by our team before they appear.
2. Firms without a membership can ask us to update their profile for a fee, or claim the profile under any plan and manage it themselves at no extra cost.

1. The Client agrees to respond promptly to all communications regarding their listings, participation in awards, or any other programs offered by Global Law Lists.org^™.
2. The Client further agrees to ensure that all content provided for use in listings or advertisements is accurate, lawful, and complies with applicable regulations. Listings must also meet our Listing Standards.

1. Global Law Lists.org^™ assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, or undelivered physical goods provided that the shipping details match the Client's information on file.
2. Should a re-shipment be necessary due to non-delivery, the Client will bear all associated costs.
3. In the event of goods arriving damaged, Global Law Lists.org^™ will replace the damaged items at no additional cost, provided the claim is made within five working days of delivery.

1. The Client is authorised to use the Website for personal purposes and may print or download materials for non-commercial use, provided that no alterations are made without prior consent.
2. Reproduction of any Website content without written permission from Global Law Lists.org^™ is strictly prohibited.
3. Global Law Lists.org^™ strives to ensure constant access to the Website but shall not be held responsible for any interruptions, downtime, or technical failures outside of its control.

1. All submissions made by the Client to the Website shall be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary unless specifically covered by the Platform's Privacy Policy.
2. The Client is prohibited from posting unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate content on the Website and agrees to comply with all applicable legal standards.
3. Global Law Lists.org^™ will cooperate with law enforcement authorities if required by law in relation to any unlawful conduct or material submitted by the Client.

1. While links to third-party websites may be provided for convenience, Global Law Lists.org^™ is not responsible for the content or functionality of any linked external sites.
2. Anyone may link to the public pages of the Website without asking permission, provided that the link does not suggest endorsement by, or affiliation with, Global Law Lists.org^™; does not display the Website inside a frame or present its content as part of another site; and does not point into members-only, account or administrative areas. Use of our logos and badges is governed by the Brand Usage Policy.

1. Global Law Lists.org^™ endeavours to ensure the accuracy of the content on the Website but does not guarantee its completeness or error-free nature.
2. Any website visitor, client, or party who uses or relies on our platform should take all due diligence necessary to verify the accuracy of information about any lawyer or law firm. At all times, the client or visitor should not retain lawyers or law firms solely based on our platform's verification.
3. Global Law Lists.org^™ verifies member law firms and lawyers before they receive a verification badge, under its published verification methodology. Profiles compiled from public sources are not verified until the firm or lawyer claims the profile and completes verification. Verification confirms the stated facts, such as identity, licensure and professional standing, as at the time of checking. It is not an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee of the quality of any lawyer or law firm or of the outcome of any matter.
4. Listings of law firms and lawyers are compiled from public sources and from information submitted by members. We take reasonable steps to check listings, but we cannot guarantee that every listed firm or lawyer is genuine, currently licensed, in good standing or accurately described. Before engaging any lawyer or law firm, users must carry out their own due diligence, including confirming registration with the relevant bar association or law society.
5. Some photographs on the Website, including images of people in banners, heroes and promotional sections, are illustrative only and may be AI-generated or stock imagery. They are not true representations of any lawyer, law firm, member, client or staff of Global Law Lists.org^™, unless a person is expressly named and identified.
6. The Platform reserves the right to update or change Website content at any time without prior notice.

1. Under no circumstances shall Global Law Lists.org^™ be held liable for any damages, whether direct, indirect, or consequential, arising from the use or inability to use the Website or the Services.
2. This limitation of liability also extends to the use of the website by visitors seeking lawyers or law firms from any jurisdiction in the world. Under no circumstances is Global Law Lists.org^™ responsible for the inaccuracy of information on our platform. Visitors and clients are advised to conduct their own due diligence before retaining any lawyers or law firms.

1. When a membership ends. A membership ends when it is cancelled and the paid term is over, when the annual administrative fee is not paid as described in section 04, or when it is closed by Global Law Lists. When a law firm membership ends, the firm’s profile is not deleted: it returns to an unclaimed public profile with the firm’s basic public details. Member features are removed, including the verified and plan badges, featured placement, the enquiry form, email and phone details, and additional practice areas. Only members are shown as verified. You keep your account, your invoices and your receipts, and you can claim the profile again with any plan.
2. Profiles included with a firm membership (branch and lawyer profiles) are paused, and come back if the firm membership becomes active again. Individual lawyer profiles are suspended rather than shown.
3. Breach. Global Law Lists may suspend or permanently terminate any Client’s participation in its services or listings for violations of this Agreement, international law, or human rights standards.

1. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bhutan.
2. The courts of Bhutan shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement.

By entering into this Agreement, both Parties hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions contained herein, as amended from time to time. All rights, title, and interest in the Global Law Lists.org^™ platform and brand assets remain exclusively with Global Law Lists.org^™. Weblaya Digital Bhutan reserves all legal rights to enforce these terms to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
