Accessibility Statement
Global Law Lists.org™ is committed to making our international legal directory usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard across the site.

1. Our commitment
We believe access to legal information should not depend on ability. We continually work to ensure that every visitor — regardless of device, browser, or assistive technology — can find and read the lawyers, law firms, and insights published on this platform.
2. Conformance target
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Conformance means the site has been designed and tested against the guideline's success criteria; where a criterion cannot yet be fully met, we describe it under “Known limitations” below.
3. Measures we have taken
- A “skip to main content” link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
- Semantic landmarks and accessible names on search fields and interactive controls.
- Colour contrast reviewed against the AA 4.5:1 threshold for body text and interface labels.
- A visible keyboard focus indicator on links and buttons.
- Support for the “reduce motion” system setting — animations and count-up effects are suppressed for visitors who request it.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images.
4. Known limitations
Some listing content, images, and documents are supplied by third-party members and may not always include complete alternative text or perfectly structured markup. Where we identify such gaps we work with the member to correct them. Embedded third-party content (for example maps) may not fully match our own accessibility standard.
5. Feedback & contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Global Law Lists.org™. If you encounter a barrier, or need information in an alternative format, please contact us and we will respond as quickly as we can, typically within a few business days.
